It’s been my observation that most people get ahead during the times that others waste.
Everyone has limited energy and time, and thus these two are probably the most precious things anyone can have. The wise fully capitalise on their time and effort, and would not waste what they have.
On the other hand, many people think that it is alright to waste time and effort. Things that could have been done are often postponed or delayed.
They could have improved themselves in their times of youth, start a career and walk the path of success; yet they choose to spend time on meaningless things.
When they are working on a task, they are unfocused, and often take a long time to complete something. They have never bothered to put in all their effort at work.
Wasting time not only hurts someone’s confidence, and crushes their dreams, it can also cost them a happy life.
