Big front-page achievement are lovely , but success is richer, and broader than that. To be happy, you do have to push yourself, to take your own dreams seriously.
When we were younger, we talk a lot about dreams. We said one day, I want to be an inventor, a doctor, a teacher… but at some point we stopped talking about dreams, and then, stopped dreaming.
We stopped because we are afraid—maybe our dreams are too big, too ridiculous, too far away from the grasp of our hands.
In reality, our dreams are actually not that far off, and not that ridiculous. The only ridiculous thing is that we deny ourselves the ability to make them come true, before we even try.
We do not lack dreams. What we lack today is dreams that are taken seriously. All dreams should be taken seriously, especially by the dreamer.
We dream, therefore we are.
