The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that a country needs at least 10 blood donors for every 1000 people to ensure sufficient supply of blood. Yet the WHO also reports that as many as 75 countries worldwide has blood donation lower than the ideal level. In many cases, middle and lower income countries suffer the most in terms of blood supply. The relevant bodies often find it difficult to ensure the quantity, safety, and quality of blood they receive.
Monspace and the National Blood Centre has organised a blood donation campaign earlier on which received great response. Many people, regardless of race, participated in this significant event. So, Monspace announces another blood donation drive to ensure that the National Blood centre has enough supply in times of need. We invite you to be a donor—your simple act of kindness can save someone’s life!
